The Restylane line of fillers contains numerous products, with each having a different formulation, concentration, consistency, and density. As a result, they can be used in different treatment areas. For instance, a thin Restylane filler like Kysse won’t be effective when injected into areas like the nasolabial folds, which have deep wrinkles.

Likewise, a dense Restylane filler like Contour may cause overfilling when injected into areas such as the lips. Our Restylane collection includes Lyf, Refyne, Defyne, Kysse, Silk, and Contour. There are differences in the formulation of these products and the solutions they provide:

• Restylane Lyft contains Lidocaine and is excellent for deep injection into the facial tissues to correct moderate to severe folds and wrinkles. It’s also used for cheek augmentation and treating age-related midface contour deficiencies.
• Restylane Silk is excellent for lip augmentation and correcting perioral wrinkles.
• Restylane Refyne is formulated for mid-to-deep injection into facial tissues to correct nasolabial folds and other moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles.
• Restylane Defyne is meant for mid-to-deep injection into facial tissues to correct moderate to excessive facial wrinkles and folds. It can also get injected into the mid-to- deep dermis to augment the chin profile in patients with chin retrusion.
• Restylane Contour is for correcting midface contour deficiencies and cheek augmentation.
